Electronic music pioneers seen during a particularly experimental phase

The flirtation with hats didn't last long. Founder member Ralf Hutter was quoted during a rare interview: 'It was all David Bowie's idea. We didn't really like them.' They are not expected to be seen sporting head gear during their upcoming tour.
